Heart and Soul

All are welcome

A live and online smaller spiritual gathering for contemplation and connection open to those of all faiths and none.

Heart and Soul gatherings were first introduced at Kensington Unitarians in London . They have grown over the years and we at Hastings hold ours once a month.

You can learn more about Heart and Soul here.

Heart and Soul follows a regular pattern, including readings and music from an eclectic range of sources, time for guided prayers and silent meditation.

Each session usually has a set theme and starts with some music opening words chalice lighting and a chance for all to check in.

Here at Hastings we loosely follow the regular pattern of the heart of Heart and Soul, a time of guided prayer of Naming, Knowing, Listening and Loving (ways of praying introduced by Eric Walker Wikstrom click here for more info).

It is an opportunity to take time out during the month for some spiritual nourishment and sharing in community with others and share our prayers and reflections and loving wishes for others.

Please join us on the Last Wednesday of every month live or online at 4.00 pm.

Rev Safar Wisby (One Spirit Interfaith Minister) leads our monthly Heart and Soul.
